The teachers explained to me all of the levers sticking out were to help the chair grow with her so that she could have it for many years.
I came during the morning when they were having breakfast. All children where sat at the table eating cereal while Rosie was fed baby food in giant baby bumbo. The teachers told me she only eats baby food and is very picky about what she likes. I don’t know if they were just lazy or if Rosie really didn’t like to be moved around. They said she was sensitive about new situations, which they found out when she got her new therapist.
Rosie get speech and physical therapy every week at school. The therapist comes to class and sometimes leaving Rosie to communicate with classmates and other times takes her to the special therapy room. Rosie’s mom recently switched health insurances and got a whole new set of therapist. The teachers explained that Rosie doesn’t like new people but they trust the therapist and do what she says.
Since Rosie has been this way since birth they are familiar with the doctor and therapist recommendations. The therapist has special leg exercises and rubs that they do with Rosie every afternoon. She also wears leg braces that are supposed to help straighten out her feet so she will eventually be able to walk one

After arriving to the child care center, one of the employees gave us a quick summary of the events that were going to happen and split us up into three groups of about seven. The first classroom that I entered was the hourly room and there were no children or teachers in this room at the time. This room was a room that was open from 12:45-3 and was for children who did not require naps. One of the first things that I observed upon entering the room was that many of the things in the room were miniature to accompany the children. This included things such as the tables, chairs, and cabinets.…
