Great post Adrianna. I agree with your view that evidence-based practice structures provide a footing on which informatics solutions can be constructed to move evidence into practice and that health informatics can add more support to evidence-based practice, patient centered care, and transition care across settings. A typical example of health informatics is the clinical decision support systems. Clinical decision support system (CDSS) is a decision-making support tool that perform data analysis to help care providers make appropriate clinical decisions (Berner & La Lande, 2016).
