Great things tend to come with great consequences. In William Shakespeare's five act play, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, great things occur frequently. This story of two star-crossed lovers shows us many examples of how dire some consequences can truly be. It is very evident that unconditional love comes with great consequences.

To start things off, the lengths Romeo and Juliet go to be together are insane. For example, they'd rather be dead and together than alive and apart. Romeo says,“... here's to my love [He drinks] Oh true apothecary! Thy drugs are quick. Thus with a kiss, I die.”(Shakespeare, pg. 73) This quote shows he was willing to die for Juliet - someone he met just 3 days ago. In life, death is one of the greatest penalties or consequences
