In the old epic poem of beowulf from the Anglo Saxon time. There were a lot of references to Good vs. Evil which still exists today in epics. The hero of the story is an amazingly strong geet warrior who plays the role of the hero. While the villain is played as grendel, grendel's mom and a dragon are portrayed as the evil aspect. This poem can be consider a classical poem because of the old fashioned good vs evil as hero vs villains. In the beginning a young geat warrior known as Beowulf sets off on a long voyage with a handfull his best men to the notorious land of the danes. Grendel's mother finds him first and drags him down to the bottom of the lake to her court. He is then viciously attacked by multiple sea monsters who tear his chain mail armor. After he defeats the monsters he finds grendel's mom once again when he finds her he strikes her again and again but with no prevail Beowulf's sword would not work against her finally Beowulf sees a glowing object it turned out to be an ancient sword.
