Exploratory Essay
I’m the kind of person that is the doer that likes to be outside. I like to work with equipment so when I’m older I want to be an equipment operator in the military. After I retire from the military I would like to settle down in the country near a medium sized city and start a business flipping houses. My top values are being physically fit, having and being a good friend, and be courageous. I will hopefully always be a brother, uncle, son, gun owner, fisher and hunter, and be able to eat all types of food. When I get older I would like to start a family of my own.
Values of mine are being physically fit, having good friends, and being courageous. Being physically fit is a value because it is a good feeling to know what your limits are and know what you can do. Having good friends is important and it is also a two way street so I should be a good friend. To me a good friend is someone that you know you can trust, is honest, and someone that will be there for you. His response to the first question, What do you think the future will be like in 5-20 years? was “Future looks like more hybrid cars and less people that work with their hands in a dirty profession” looks like I won’t be in the future. The response to the second question, What kind of job do you think I’m fit for was? was “I see you as a construction worker to start, but I see you moving your way into management after very long”. The response to the question, What kind of person do you think I am? Was “You are loyal and dedicated to family and friends. You are hardworking and always wanting to learn new things.
