Dear Ms. Brill, In response to the information noted on my file. The domestic dispute between my ex-fiance and myself was in result of self defense. I was taken into custody because I picked up a knife to keep him away from me after being beaten and thrown down a flight of stairs. He took my cell phone and removed the house phones, which disabled me from calling for help. Because he was the first to call the police and report his side, I was the one that ended up having to be removed from our home.
