This strategy involves selections being provided for students to choose their method of learning. A poster board can be made with any number of selections on it and then presented to students to pick their method of choice. I would use this in my classroom to relate the topic matter more closely to what the students are working with. If the subject was math the choice card could have different manipulatives listed for them to choose such as blocks, plastic animals, flashcards, or marker boards and tally marks. The students would chose the method they preferred, and I would tell them what they were to do with their items. If I felt it necessary I could even assign students with the areas they have more issues in such as addition or subtraction and counting by ones or counting by fives. This differentiation method would benefit the students in the way that they choose their learning strategy, and I choose their learning
