1.) I believe the most crucial plot in this story is when he states "In consequence, I am inclined to reserve all judgments, a habit that has opened up many curious natures to me and also made me the victim of not a few veteran bores." I find that the most crucial because this was part of the introduction to the story. It was a very interesting story to read.
2.) Nick described himself as to be young and more vulnerable. It states in the story "I'm my younger and more vulnerable years my father gave me some advice that I have been turning over in my mind ever since." This is what he described himself at the beginning of the novel.

When they met, Jordan was wearing a white dress. Jordan Baker was a stranger to Nick.
Nick found the way her chin raised a little as appealing to him. Nick states"her chin raised a little, as if she were balancing something on it which was quite likely to fall." I believe this is what Nick found appealing about Jordan Baker. Also he found appealing that Jordan was slender, small-breasted girl.
5.) When Nick first sees Gatsby, he was standing with his hands in his pockets regarding the silver pepper of the stars. Nick then realized it was Mr. Gatsby himself. Gatsby came out to determine what share was his of their local heavens.
