Many people show different emotions. The characters from Anne Frank’s Diary show these emotions. They are courage, compassion, and sacrifice. During World War Two, Anne, her family, and a couple of friends went to the secret annex. The secret annex was supposed to keep them safe from the Nazis. Going to the annex required certain strength from many other people besides Anne and her family.
Courage means someone who is willing to do something someone else is not. The secret annex was ran by people who had lots of courage. One of these people was Miep, she was helping the Franks and the Van Daans go into hiding.
