In The Odyssey, Odysseus embarked on a journey to fight the Trojan War, but ended up being whisked away in events that kept him from home for 20 years. Over the course of the twenty years in which Odysseus and his men were kept from home, him and his men encountered many conflicts, including sea monsters, one-eyed foes, and making risky decisions. However, there are three major conflicts in The Odyssey. Such as man vs nature, man vs himself, and man vs society. However, for the majority of the epic, man vs nature is a reoccurring conflict that Odysseus faces.
