She had no regard for the law and was apprehended for it. In order to protect herself, she then fought off law enforcement until V came along. Evey shared an undeniable bond with V. He transformed her into a fearless being by showing her a different outlook on life. Due to the courage displayed in other activists, she was inspired to make a change in the equality of the government. Evey executed the final part of V’s cause. When she refused to take her hand off of the train lever, she was civilly disobedient. Evey was risking her life to stand up for the greater good of her country’s future. She sent the train full of explosives that V had left for her to blow up the parliament building. Evey responded, “This country needs more than a building right now, it needs hope” (Mcteigue, V for Vendetta). The destruction of the building was a symbol of accomplishment of freedom and vengeance. Host Gordon Dietrich displayed Civil disobedience on his live talk show. Gordon wrote a new script to air on his show with an impersonating Chancellor as his guest. Throughout the show, the terrorist V made a mockery of the Chancellor. Gordon knew this would not go unpunished, but he did it anyway. Despite the fact that Gordon later died after his illegal possessions were discovered, his disrespectful broadcast made it possible for the people to see things in a new light. As a result, the show leads to an outbreak of followers, who later acted out in their own civil disobedient
