(Chivalry in Arthur and Green Knight)
Have you had anybody in your life stick to their word on what they say they will do for you, or maybe even be nice and kind to you? Well back in the world of knights that's called chivalry, chivalry is the way the knights need to live up to. There code on how a knight should act. In the stores Arthur and Green Knight there is a bunch of chivalry that goes on in the story. Like manners, pride and the courage that a knight has. The two stories explain these three ideas of chivalry very well throughout the story.
The first idea of chivalry that these two stories of Arthur and Green Knight show is manners. Manners is something that all of our parents taught us when we very first started growing up. It’s something that every kid knows how to use and when to use them. Holding a door open for the person behind you or saying excuse me when you get done burping. Thats a big one for knights to live by. If a knight is scared to go fight a dragon or anything other thing then how is he suppose to protect his city and people. People won’t want to live with you or trust you if you don’t know how to have courage, it's the number one thing that people look for in a knight. Courage is something that all knights live up to, it's there way of knowing that they aren’t scared to do anything and anything and everything is possible for them to do. Courage is what gets you out of bed in the morning. The movie of Arthur and the Green Knight show courage when Arthur loses his brothers sword and goes to pull the sword out of the rock and everybody tells him to put it back in the rock. So he puts it back in the rock and everybody tells him to pull it out again so he has to have courage to be able to stand up there in front of everybody and pull that sword out that will announce the next king of the
