The concept and action of betrayal and mistrust is seen all throughout literature and life, but the story of Hamlet by William Shakespeare takes this to a whole other level. Almost every character betrays a loved one and feels that it is moral to do so. The themes of betrayal and mistrust consume the story of Hamlet and assist in thickening the plot.
