Is fear the best way to scare people out of doing something? It depends on what the case is and what you are trying to do, Are you trying to keep them away from something or bring them to something either way it about works the same. I feel that appeals to fear are the best way to keep someone from doing something. The first reason why I think appeals to fear are the best way to keep someone from doing something is makes them scared of the consequences. For example in the TV show Corcoran when the prisoners are sitting down with the delinquents saying he sees them dying young. Making them scared they will die faster for doing what they are doing.
