Before I started last spring semester my GPA was .25 and after the semester I managed to bring to a 1.0 which was the GPA I had before the start last fall semester.
I made a few changes in my study habits and took three classes, College Algebra, US History 2, and English Composition, to bring above a 2.0 to take me off any type of probation. …show more content…
It wasn’t until we started covering new material that I started to struggle with the class. When I tried asking for help the professor would make it seem like it was inconvenient for one on one help, even during her office hours, and sent us to the learning lab most of the time. Whenever tests would come around, she would mark off how we did the work the learning lab tutors showed us how to do because it wasn’t how she taught it. After receiving an F and a C on the first two tests, I made the decision to withdrawal from the course because I felt that there was no way for me to receive at least a B and was a threat to my goal of getting my GPA above a 2.0. I was still enrolled in History 2 and English composition so felt comfortable with depending on those two classes for my GPA
