I approach leadership maybe a little backwards. I'm a firm believer in you have to be an example first, and then your character and humility will influence those around you. In the classroom I have always taken my responsibilities very serious and this example has defiantly influenced others to do the same. I have been on the varsity soccer team at Three Rivers High School since my freshman year. I been fortunate to a starter with non-stop play time. I think it was hard at first for the older players to accept me or even depend on me for results, but by example they too transformed their ideas.
