I then completed the necessary paperwork for a search warrant. At approximately 6:42 p.m., I went before Magistrate Bloomfield and was granted a search warrant. The search warrant was executed at approximately 6:55 p.m.
I was asked by Detective D. Franklin to contact a friend of Duttons who was identified as Albert Perdue (white, male DOB 3/13/1942) of 2228 Dixie Trail, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28306. I was informed Albert Perdue may have information on a past assault, which occurred against Dutton.
At approximately 7:20 p.m., I arrived at Albert Perdue’s residence. The residence appeared to be vacant and had large amounts of trash in the front yard. I then spoke to the neighbors who live at 2229 Dixie Trl. The neighbors advised Albert
