It was a nice and cool day perfect for soccer. Grass wasn’t too long and wasn’t too hot or cold, just perfect. It was the last game of the season last time I will see most of my team It was the best moment ever and also the worst. All everyone was worried about that game and that moment.Right off the bat the Referee blows the whistle and the ball is kicked the other team passes it back and the game starts. We score the first goal but the sadly the other team comes back with 1 goal to follow through and tie at the end of the the first half.
Both teams go to the sidelines and talk. Gary our coach says “guys we've got this all we need is team effort.” Gary talked some more and we all went on to the field so hyped and ready

As soon as the buzzer rang my team ran on the cold smooth ice like winners. I stepped on the cool ice, and it felt like home away from home. The Rams were wearing orange and white, while my team was wearing black and white. We got in a semi circle and started shooting at Titus, who seemed to me that he gets better and better. After that, we got in two lines and passed to each player, and one by one we would shoot at Titus.…

Soccer had became my drug and each day I was more and more addicted to playing and creating memories with my soccer family. Consequently, when there is good there will always be bad. My team started losing one game after the other, my teammates where suffering from injuries, and other’s where being prohibited to play due to bad grades. On the night of our last game against Westview, we all had hoped that the eleven of the remaining eligible players, no substitutes, could have taken the win. However, a hurricane of hungry soccer players whipped us off our feet and buried our drained bodies in their own soil.…

It was a perfect evening for a soccer game, the weather was just right, with a nice breeze that wasn’t too chilly. The parking lot was filled with cars as it was the North Polars first home soccer game of the season. Walking up the stairs , onto the bleachers, the first thing you hear is the energizing rap music, the parents sitting on the left and students on the right all dressed with school spirit, red, white and black and across the field the visiting team had a couple of spectators dressed in orange. As I look down at the perfectly grassed, green soccer field marked with white lines and a red letter N in the center, i see both teams doing drills, shooting, passing and running. Our team captain has a neon green arm band, he leads the team yelling across the field and keeping everyone focused.…

As I started for the door of the car on that warm Sunday morning, my body began to shiver. The chills that ran through my body made it feel like a cold winter morning. The car ride to the fields felt like forever, even though the highways were empty. This game was one that would define who we were as a team and who I was as an individual considering the other team was highly known and respected for their wins and accomplishments in the league. This was also an important game because it was two teams from the same club and ,when two teams from the same club play against each other, most people's observation is to see which coach is more superior.…

The whistle blew to start the second game of the new season. After a win that morning, we were eager to begin playing again. Already sweating, I touched the soccer ball to my teammate and we began the fight for another win. After a rather uneventful first half, the fluorescent ball had yet to find the back of the net. Neither team had taken control of the game and it seemed like it might stay that way.…

My mother often told me to marry a man who drinks milk shakes. At the time, I was a shy, young girl when she offered this advice. It felt weird to hear, since I wouldn’t go on my first date until age sixteen. It would be with a guy in his early twenties who wore a black leather jacket and large boots with shiny silver buckles. We’d met by chance at the bus stop.…
