This incident clearly illustrates the fact that Edward was overly altruistic even in parlous situations despite his inability to relate to much of anything in a regular society. This type of lighting is also used in The Nightmare before Christmas as Jack sings “This is Halloween.” As the stringy skeleton travels up a dark, and curvy hill, all by his lonesome yet again.
