Sprint Planning
1) Goal:
a. Create the sprint backlog based on the top items in the team product backlog.
b. Effort at the PBI level will be estimated with story points.
c. Create tasks for each PBI that will get that PBI to “done”.
i. Each task will be estimated in hours. ii. Review DOD document to ensure that all DOD tasks have been created for each PBI.
2) When:
a. First day of each sprint.
3) Attendees:
a. Scrum Master
i. Ensures the meeting occurs. ii. Ensures attendees understand meeting purpose. iii. Teaches attendees to keep the meeting within the time‐box.
b. Development team
i. Discusses PBIs and provides effort with story points. ii. Breaks down PBIs into smaller tasks, typically to units of one day or less.
c. Product Owner
i. Discusses
