In Satrapi’s second example, she was punished by the teacher because of her different understandings to the society. On page 44, the teacher told the children to tear out all the photos of the king from their book after the revolution. Everyone followed, except Marjane complaint to her friend about the teacher was easy to change and have no faith. However, she was reported by her classmate for her unintentional comments. After that, her classmate and the teacher all showed dissatisfaction on their face. Marjane did not realize about her language at the first time and showed an innocent expression on her face.
