On Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at approximately 1230 hours, while present at Group #31, I reviewed the Command Center audio associated with this case. The following was revealed: On June 9, 2016, Sgt. Lesly Charles, tax #932451 called the Command Center and stated the following: Sgt. Charles stated that he was contacted by a former Auxiliary Officer, Eddie Nunez. Sgt.…
On Tuesday, October 25, 2016, Little Rock Homicide Detectives were requested to respond to an officer involved shooting at 514 East 8th Street. Upon arrival, I made contact with Sergeant James Lesher and I was advised the elements of the scene. Sergeant Lesher stated that Officers were dispatched to a call of a disturbance that was at the residence of 514 E. 8th Street. Sergeant Lesher advised that he received information from patrol supervisors on scene that while Officer Dennis Hutchins and Officer Juston Tyer were driving to the location, 911 dispatch upgraded the call to a disturbance with a weapon.…
The purpose of this body of work was to address medication errors and safe medication administration practices in relation to practicing nurses and nursing students via several different approaches. These different approaches will be presented as three separate papers but interrelated themes. The specific purpose for each paper and the corresponding research questions were addressed individually in each chapter. The approach used in the first paper was a systematic literature search of medication administration errors and the pediatric population; five themes emerged including the incidence rate of medication administration errors, specific medications involved in medication administration errors and classification of the errors, why medication…
In the early 1800s, open rebellions—when slaves armed themselves and rose up against their white oppressors—happened, but they were rare. In 1800, a slave named Gabriel Prosser made plans to revolt in Henrico County, Virginia. Freeman Denmark Vesey led a rebellion in Charleston, South Carolina in 1822. Nat Turner’s Rebellion was the biggest and bloodiest slave uprising in American history.…
I am now half way through with Summer Session II and the transition between high school and college has been exciting, but also overwhelming. A few differences I have noticed between my high school classes and my college classes are the size difference, the diversity in students, and the faster pace. In my high school, the average number of students in each class was about 25 to 35 compared to my biggest class now at about 200 students. Additionally, the students in my class before were mainly Hispanic, but now everywhere I look I am able to see people of different cultures and that is something that is so important to me. The reason for this is that, while I did not grow up in a diverse area, I believe that growing up around different people…
Introduction Definitions of intelligence vary among scholars, theorists, and laypersons, due to its multidimensionality. However, intelligence typically involves an individual’s ability to learn from experience and adapt to the environment in which they live. I believe that the construct of intelligence should encompass an individual’s ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form, to think logically, and to express creativity. Two intelligence tests in which I recently had the opportunity to take and score included the Shipley Institute of Living Scale-2 and the Wonderlic Personnel Test.…
Taylor told me that on Sunday 8/27/17 Officer Villalpando requested to drive to his house as he wanted to speak to him. On arrival Officer Villalpando advised that he was listed as a suspect in a domestic disturbance. Officer Villalpando explained that he had gone over to a friend’s house where he drank socially. Officer Villalpando admitted to having more than he should have before leaving. When Officer Villalpando returned home he said his neighbors were outside fighting so he went outside to speak with them and say “hello”.…
Portfolio reviewers: My pre-ECU 2201 experience was my English 1100 course. While taking this class online, I learned how to make an interesting essay. Though this class didn 't require much research, it taught me how to write an interesting essay. Most of the time the professor gave us the decision to write whatever we wanted to write on. There might been some times where he wanted us to write a specific topic, but still had the chance to write whatever we wanted within the topic.…
In this Reflective Essay I am going to discuss and focus on the lessons I learnt during the Graduate Career course which I attended for one week from the 16th- 20th of November and also it will go ahead to discuss how it will benefit me in the nearer future especially when applying for a job role in any firm or company. What is a Reflective Essay? “according to Gibbs, 1998 a reflective essay should be descriptive, experienced gotten from the event attended should be stated, evaluation, analysis, conclusion and finally future goals should be stated”.it can also be defined as a type of writing in which an individual is able to discuss its experience and future ambitions from an event that has occurred or it can be made up (Condor.depaul.edu 2001). While attending the Graduate Careers course I was able to gain knowledge and skills from all the workshops.…

I am a Student Paramedic with the East Of England Ambulance NHS Trust and this essay will look reflectively at an incident I attended during the course of my duties. The assignment will reflect on the moral, ethical and legal aspects of pre-hospital care that challenged me during this particular emergency. Reflective practice is a requirement of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, 2014). Rolfe, Freshwater and Jasper (2001) state, “we learn by doing and realising what came of what we did”.…
In reviewing my 360 evaluation, I was surprised by some of my findings. I was unaware of what people really thought of me and honestly I avoid knowing what they think at all costs. I have always been self-conscience and worried about what others think of me. After reading my scores, I was both shocked and relieved of my findings. I was not aware I see myself at such a lower level than what others do.…
Reflective learners can use their abilities in work placements because they observe people and reflect them in future problems, for example a child is a reflective learner and has seen a person cleaning a wound and placing a plaster on it, the child would reflect this information when it happens again which is why tolerance is needed overall, because tolerance is needed to understand other people’s knowledge and reflect it for example a person is watching how a mother is feeding her child but the child is crying, the important part for a reflective learner is to watch and learn because the mother might make the child cry but it is for a good reason which is why being tolerant can help however if you do not become tolerant you would not be able…
Chapter eleven has provided a lot of templates that I need to review and revise. I am currently in the process of writing my research paper and when I edit it, these templates will definitely provide a good list to check off. At one point, it asked if I had reminded the readers what others argue regarding the topic at several points during my writing, I wondered if it would be alright to put all the opposing arguments in one section. These would be my Naysayers. I was also reminded in this chapter to recheck how I stated, placed, and explained my quotes.…
I decided to use my learned guided imagery technique on a close friend whom was experiencing a lot of stress from her school work and her internship. My client is a senior at Austin Peay and often expresses how much she has to complete before she is ready to graduate. I asked the client if she knew of any alternative interventions that she could use to relieve her stress and asked if I could use some of the guided imagery that I have just learned. Before the session started, the client reported feeling stressed and overwhelmed, and as for me; I was very nervous and unsure of my abilities. We both sat in the living room of the apartment and started the session by discussing what she considers her happy place; which we came up with the setting…
