Don’t take this article the wrong way, support of women 's rights is a good thing, but there are few that take it beyond what it is. They call themselves feminists, others would consider them as radical feminists. There is a difference between the two, feminism is a belief that man and woman should be equal in society and have equal opportunity in the world; radical feminism is a belief that men have been dominating over women for years and the women should be above the men in the societal structure.
One instance of radical feminism in today’s society is tied to the election. People believe that others should vote for Hillary if they are female, but Bernie Sanders rebutted with the quote, “people should not be voting for candidates based

Although nothing is proven to be true, it seems that women generally get the favorable side in a court case when it comes to certain subjects; the main subjects are divorce and custody. In 80% of cases women get custody of the child, sometimes they deserve custody for certain reasons, although other times there is no reason that they choose the woman over the man. In divorce cases there is a popular term that is used, it is called walkaway wife. This term means a woman walks away with a substantial amount more than she owned or deserved after a divorce. Not all court cases end with a woman on top, but statistically this is the way things are.
There is no shame in supporting rights, there is nothing wrong with a woman who wants to have the same opportunities as a man, in no way is there any problem with wanting an equal world where men and women make the same amount of money and can have any job they desire. Feminism is not wrong nor is it bad, a radical is what gives that term the horrible name it has. Equal rights are good for this world, with those equal rights come equal job opportunities, equal pay, equal chances in court, an equal world is the

Argumentation: The Feminist Movement has the goal of making sure that women’s rights are equal to men’s rights. This point is valid because women are no different from men besides some body parts and physical characteristics. There is not a real reason for men to be able to get higher paying jobs than women, men and women have plenty of careers that are the same but men get a higher percentage of money. For every 64 cents that an African American woman earns, a white man gets a dollar. That is 36 cents more than what some women are getting even though they Kalau 5 have the same job.…

While society has learned how to identify men and women based on what they see or hear on television, read in magazines and newspapers, and what we hear on the radio. Men are often portrayed as the strong, powerful leaders giving them a reputation to uphold. Women are seen as the weaker and more emotional, causing them to be more insecure then men. While both men and women offer a great variety of skills in society, the media and the government divide them on television and in print, therefore, the American people should fight for more say in what we hear and view from the media. Men often get picked apart for how they dress, what they drive, even their race, and what kind of profession they have.…

Feminism is the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men (“Feminism”). Women have always struggled in the fight to gain equality with men, despite the many major advances; society still has a long way to go in addressing the issue of gender inequality. Women’s rights are somewhat a delicate and unsettled subject that society still continues to debate today. The belief that women simply because they are women are treated inequitably within a society as it is organized to prioritize the male viewpoints and concerns. Within a patriarchal society, women have always been placed on a lower status compared to men.…

When you think of the people fighting on the front lines in combat you think of males, because they 're normally on the army posters. Women can make a big difference in the armed forces and contribute as well as the men. Vernice Armour says, "Bottom line is if you can do the job, you should be out there doing it... man or a woman" (picture caption).…

A current stereotype of feminism is that supporters have to be radical man-haters. Andersen (2015) states, “This [viewpoint] is simply not true, as any close look at the diverse men and women who are feminists would show” (p. 8). Andersen’s statement and John Stuart Mill’s belief exemplifies how a feminist’s convictions do not have to be extreme. This simple, yet profound realization is comforting to me. The multifaceted argument of John Stuart Mill and Harriet Taylor Mill raises questions about a female’s position in society and what believing in feminism…

However, women should not be scared of saying the are feminists. It is not wrong for women and men alike to believe that women can be paid the same as their male counterparts. It is not wrong for people to hope that one day women will not need to be tied to a man to find their importance. Women should stand up if they think it 's wrong that, because they had the audacity to be born female, they are denied education, opportunities, and success. Believing that women are not property of men, but their equals is not wrong, therefore feminism is not something women should deny within themselves, but something they should…
