There are many things that our society still haven 't come to accept yet. We are currently living in the 21st century; however, we are as closed-minded as we were in history. People are still being discriminated against for something they are or believe in. Racism and homophobia are two very popular examples of discrimination. There are a couple of cases about "black lives matter" still going on often enough, and words like "gay" and "fag" being used more than ever. I chose these two cases because they 're very common and it 's is something that will most probably always be around in our world. If after everything we have gone through, North America still hasn’t overcome racism and homosexuality, I 'm afraid there is a chance we never will, and that will have an impact on us in every way. Our population needs to stop discriminating toward people who we consider "different", and start accepting them for who they are.

A person should not be allowed to shoot another human being for no reason, and then get away with it. The shooter did not suffer through any consequences and this is not right for anyone. Trayvon was a teenager and he did not deserve what happened to him, and neither did his friends and family. The media did not agree with the results of this event, which is why we now know of the "black lives matter" movement. It is to try to get authorities to understand that what they are doing is wrong and it should be dealt with properly before our world gets
