Sadly and unmistakably, there are examples of prejudice everywhere for reasons that are far more complicated then a person would think. Prejudice ideas come from ones spiritual beliefs, cultural background, strengths or weaknesses, interest and hobbies, physical features, and sexual gender orientation or preference. Although many of these topics can be very controversial, sexual gender orientation or preference is a commonly seen as prejudice in today’s society. For example, sexual orientation and preference can greatly affect a persons job opportunity. When applying for a job and a person is a homosexual, bisexual, or asexual, their employer may treat them differently or will not offer the same benefits as they would to heterosexual employees.
