Substitute teachers; they are either loved or hated. Depending on who it is, hearing that there is a substitute can arise joy for everyone in the class; other times the substitute will make you lose your will to live. Either way whenever it is heard that there is a substitute in a class everyone asks, “For what class?”; and “Who is it?”.
The substitute that seems like they have no will to live anymore. This substitute often does not care what the class is doing as long as it is quite in the room. This substitute is probably just doing this job, because despite their lack of will to live, they have to eat and provide for their family. This substitute is loved by everyone except for the teacher, and the same annoying kids that no one likes. These substitutes do not care what you do at all. For all they care you could paint the walls pink. In their mind their only job is to watch the students, and make sure they are all still alive when they leave the classroom. Even though the students love this substitute, they often wonder how they still have a job. The rule book substitute. Literally everyone hates this substitute except for the teacher. Even the annoying students that no one likes hate this teacher. When a student asks to use the restroom they say no, because “My rule book says that I have to keep all students inside the classroom until the bell rings, unless you are called out by the office.” They take the rules to an extreme. This substitute makes every student lose their will to live. When it is heard that this substitute is in one of the classes a student takes they moan and groan all the way to that class wishing that they would have skipped school today. There are many more types of substitutes in schools. These particular three are the most common substitutes. Many of the others fall under one of these categories in some way.
