You may have received a letter from me in the past week. It was sent to you in an envelope from The Borgen Project. I know it’s so easy to overlook print matter when we all get so such mail, so this is a follow up to that letter.
As you may know, I accepted an editorial internship at The Borgen Project. It has been an amazing experience. This non-profit organization has given me the opportunity to help eliminate extreme poverty around the world.
I am currently participating in a friendly competition with my fellow volunteers at The Borgen Project to see who can raise the most money for poverty-reduction efforts. I am reaching out to you, in the hope that you can help me reach my goal of raising at least $500 for the world’s poor.
