PER REPORTER: The child is in Mississippi visiting for Christmas. Mom had a visit with the child on yesterday. Mom said the child told her a bunch of stuff. Mom feels the child is in danger. The child is leaving tomorrow to go back to Colorado possibly first thing in the morning. Mom is requesting someone speak with the child immediately. She wants someone to talk with him alone, so he isn't a nervous wreck. Per reporter, dad kidnapped (took) the child when he was 6 years old. Mom said dad has custody of the child due to her going to jail. Mom said she has a job and a home now. Mom said she didn't know where the child was. They came in for Christmas and showed up at her apartment. Dad said mom could have a visit with the child. Mom said the child said …show more content…
She does stuff and blames it on him. She would leave the water hose on all night and he would get whipped for it. Reporter stated the child has no marks or bruises. Per reporter, the child is not physically abused. He is being mentally and emotionally abused by the father and step-mother. He said step-mom tries to make him call her mom and he says no he won't do it. The child talked about how he is going to kill himself if he can't come back home with his family. Reporter stated he feels like a lost child; he is confused and a nervous wreck. Benjamin has made no attempts to kill himself. He didn't say how he would kill himself. Per reporter, during their visit, they went to the movies. The dad killed a deer and told the child he had to come home to help clean it. Dad called throughout the visit. Benjamin cried and didn't want to go back. There 5 police who came and made the child go back. He was screaming and crying because he didn't want to go back but he was forced to go back. Reporter stated the child does everything to please the father so he doesn't get in trouble. As a punishment, he get whipped, grounded, or gets everything taken away. It is unknown what he is whipped
