Jonathan Muñoz-Proulx’s direction brought Circle Mirror Transformation to a sweet spot between real and surreal. Annie Baker’s true-to-life writing style was taken and injected with movement to spark the creative mind. An ever changing stage was a clear foundation for the experimentation. Additionally, more movement between actors effectively clarified relationships and the tone of the play. However, with some major and minor tweaks to clean up Jonathan’s actor’s patterning and adjust the space’s architecture, Circle Mirror Transformation could be impactful by playing even more with imagination and what is literally being done for the sake of clarity.…

My final draft of the rhetorical analysis of “Marijuana Legalization Defended” by Scott Kolker is a composition of four total drafts. I began by getting the information I wanted down and into the right format that someone would need to make a rhetorical analysis. The second draft involved simple revisions of spelling and grammar to make sure that everything made sense to the reader and could be easily read. After our workshop in class together, I went and revised the draft to for more details that included adding more details and went into a greater detail, this ended up adding a little over a page of deeper detail for the reader to understand the points I was trying to make. In this section, performance space is used the most with the first travelling sequence involving the dancer walking diagonally with her leg extended sideways and her arms extended to the side and jerkily advancing them forward in a bird like motion that uses straight lines and high levels. This deliberate animal comparison is used to indicate the subject 's freedom from problems and her joy. Juxta positioning with the second section, this section has another travelling sequence where the dancer bunches up her skirt and has diagonal hitch kicks that use path and higher levels. This contrasts with the second section as even though they both had leaps, section 3 's were much higher and calm while section 2 's were frenzy and quite low.…
