The location I choose to perform my violation of a cultural norm was in the cafeteria. I used the cafeteria that is in the Gordon Student Center. After trying to decide which cultural norm to experiment with, I choose to invade someone else 's personal space. The plan I created was going up to someone in the cafeteria, and intentionally sitting close to the person to invade a person’s personal space. I would not communicate with the individual so the interaction would be silence.

My prediction of the person response of my violation was different of how he responded back. I wanted the person to be creep out or feel uncomfortable. If someone was leaning to me really close I would of said something to them like do you mind? Because I think it is inappropriate to lean to someone that you never have interaction with. The next violation was oculesics when I was sitting really close to the person I kept staring at him while the person was questions me questions. My predict I thought the person would of responded to feel that I had a staring problem. When I was sitting with the person in the cafeteria posture was sitting too close to him. I used postures by headnoting to the person when they were trying to speak to me. I felt like the guy posture was a lot of hand signals. I predict the guy would of use facial expression but he did not. I did disobey the person 's personal space by experimental my violations on
