My life right now is great. Both my parents are alive, I have friends from my job and from high school still. I live in an apartment near my family. I see my brother on most weekends. I have a great job that I enjoy for the most part. I still read like I always have for hours at a time on my couch. I have made many accomplishments in my career. I graduated high school, finally. I worked at multiple places part time for the first 4 years after high school. I then figured out what I wanted to dedicate most of my time to as a career. I had to get an associates degree to have anybody hire me so, I went back to school. I first went to community college to do all of my required classes that I could take there and then took specialized classes at Berkeley College. I did have to work at some pretty bad places to get to where I am now but, I’m happy.

I am very proud of myself for making these

The following is how Merriam-Webster dictionary defines stereotype: to believe unfairly that all people or things with a particular characteristic are the same. This is essentially what Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie described as the “single story” concept. They unfairly believed that because she is African, she is the same as all other Africans; meaning that she is poor, cannot read, and cannot speak good English.…
