Malala’s speech has demonstrated many acts of having courage. The first example is “...nothing changed in my life except this: Weakness, fear and hopelessness died, Strength, power and courage was born”(13). This shows us that Malala decided to stop being afraid of the Taliban and stand up for others who are powerless. Another example of Malala’s courageous act is “There was a time when women social activists asked men to stand up for their rights. But, this time, we will do it by ourselves”(20). This indicates that Malala is asking all women stop relying on men to stand up for them but rather to be independent. And it shows us that women too have the power to change the world.
