Presenting verbally reading passages to even a small class size has trumped and shadowed me with fear when the opportunity presents its self. Looking back once more on my middle school years I can remember reading to the class a single page of a novel and feeling like an idiot because I struggled to pronounce very preliminary words. This problem was risen during elementary school and parts of middle school through the use of state standardized tests. Upon taking these, the essay portion was the most challenging of the sections to get through. As I sat there staring at the blank lines on the page, my mind began to throb in pain trying to at least conjure some ideas. In the end, my essays would turn out to be sub par and weak because of the writer’s block I was faced. This event has led to the sense of urgency when faced with essays. Resultantly, over the years, I have learned the importance of pre-planning my thoughts, which have made the process of writing much smoother and
