Institutional discrimination is law and decision making that reflect racism. Example of institutional discrimination is use of physical size requirement as qualification of certain job. Fox example, in some of the government agencies like police department have a height measurement as part of their job requirements. This law effected Asian American because of the nature of the size. They are shorter than most of the white because of that they are not qualify for policework. Social problem become incorporated into social politics and practices through institutional discrimination. The inequitable treatment of a group resulting from practices or policies that are incorporated into social politics that operate independently from prejudices individual.
