Example Of Indirect Discrimination

Again my idea of what indirect discrimination would be that someone is discriminating against a fellow person but are doing it underhandedly. But from secondary research I learn’t that indirect-discrimination is when you have things such as a condition, rule, policy or a practice within your organisation that applies to everyone but explicitly disadvantages people whom share a specific characteristic. An example of indirect-discrimination would be if that a job was to request that employees wear jeans and a T-shirt, effectively becoming a disadvantage for certain people that follow a religion that has a strict dress policy.
