I just think it is harder to teach this to students who don’t have as much determination as other students. So studies though have shown that grit through the right interventions can increase grit in students so that’s proof that this can be increase and isn’t just something someone is born with. So what does all this mean for education? Or rather how does it relate to education? I believe that since intelligence is the best known measureable trait today is awesome. I think what Duckworth said about being able to determine someone’s intelligence in minutes is crazy to even think about. But does intelligence have everything to do with how successful a student is in the classroom? I also agree with her when she states that intelligence leaves a lot unexplained. Something else has to play a role and I can see how grit is that something else. Grit can play a huge
