Owen, Mundy, Guild, & Guild (2001) list timeliness as one of the performance audit tools that organizations can use to create a high performance workforce. Timeliness cuts across many aspects of a productive employee and it influence decisions they make for the sake of the companies where they work. Absenteeism frequency is retrievable from the time cards and they indicate whether the employee is a regular absentee or not. An employee who report to work late regularly would score poor (3) because lateness can stall operations. Another component of timeliness is the rate with which a worker complete tasks assigned to them. For instance, I would rate a worker who complete tasks a head of the deadline as excellent because they can manage their schedules effectively. Employees at different levels always present reports concerning progress of work to their seniors. An employee who blatantly bring weekly report as required is a good (2) performer. Timeliness influence speed and quality of decision making, which determines whether a company makes loss or profit. Lam, O 'Donnell, & Robertson (2015) emphasized that employee commitment is achievable through collaboration. Therefore, I think measuring employee collaboration level assists in determining the performance level. Typically, organizations organization departments or divisions require collaboration as well as coordination to ensure smooth flow of operations. To be high performing employee, one should show high level of corporation with fellow employees through taking part in group leadership, contributing ideas in teams and projects, assisting in offering solutions as groups rather than individually, and communicating openly with fellow colleagues. I would rate as excellent an employee who lead projects, communicate with others clearly, and always participate in problem-solving groups. The manner in which employee spend their personal time within the company also indicate their collaborative nature. For example, employees who keep to themselves and spend most of their free time alone within the company may not be that open to collaboration, which may interfere with their performance. In summary, employee evaluators should look add other parameters to the above tools to arrive at comprehensive conclusion about an employee performance
