What is democracy? The word “democracy” means a form of government in which the government derives its power from the people and is accountable to them for the use of that power.
Firstly, America is not a democracy, it never was, and it never intended to be. Just take the current election as an example. Secretary of State Hilary Clinton won the popular election by over two million votes and she is still lost to the most unqualified candidate in the American history Donald Trump. Not only did the Democrats lose the presidential election, they also lost the Senate and the House of Congress. This is not a democratic process, and because America has the most complex political system in the world, it is possible that we the voters do not
