I was born on August 18, 1997 in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina to Belinda Bogle and Sean Anderson. My mother, Belinda, is a parent educator who has worked hard to provide for me my entire life. She has always been a woman to put others before herself, even when it was difficult, and that is a quality I admire. My father, Sean, is a financial manager at a Ford dealership and has worked harder than any person I have ever met. We moved to Gastonia in 2000 and my parents were divorced by 2001. Both were remarried within a year or two. Growing up with divorced parents was, of course, difficult at times. However, I never went without and they both made every effort to make sure I had a good upbringing. My mother married my stepfather Ed Bogle, who had two kids, and she gave birth to my half-brother, Henry, in 2011. …show more content…
I played football, basketball and baseball all of which I enjoyed. I was terrible at basketball, decent at football and (in my humble opinion) well above average at baseball. When I wasn’t too busy playing sports I would just find something else to do, such as chess, cycling, reading, fishing, golfing, etc. Some of my best memories were going to the golf course with my father on weekends. My father is a fine golfer and taught me how to play, as best he could. I am still by no means good or even decent, but that does not matter because there is no better feeling than walking around the course on a sunny day. Now every time I go back to the course I get an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. As I look back on elementary school I smile about I spent those days having fun without a care in the world. However, middle school was just an awkward time in my life that I would like to forget as soon as possible. During high school I began to figure myself out. I got a job that gave me a little money, got a car that I loved and was really able to enjoy my
