These early exposures to neuroscience would follow me in my college tours in my junior and senior years of high school. At Georgetown, I was fascinated by the neurobiology major, and upon my second visit to Georgetown, I had the opportunity to sit in on and observe a class, PSYC 234-01: “Cognitive Neuroscience” taught by Professor Chandan Vaidya. It was an amazing opportunity to both see a collegiate-level class in person and to further stimulate my neuroscience interest. Furthermore, the class debate on the ethics of memory altercation felt familiar to my project on fMRI, and I was able to, in correspondence with Professor Vaidya about my interest in undergraduate research assistance about [PUT IN RESEARCH TOPIC, Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, Multidisciplinary fMRI]. At Georgetown, I hope to combine my interest in medicine and my interest in neuroscience by completing Pre-Med requirements while being a Neurobiology Major. At Georgetown, I see further opportunity to fuel my interest in medicine in the GERMS (Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service)
