Traditional leadership qualities consists of want to primarily lead, to have command and control, focused on finances and not worried about those who that they lead if they are going to grow in the organization or not. A traditional leader is a person who believes in doing a specific procedure the same exact way without changing any order and that it has to be constantly repetitious. “Many traditional leaders effectively transformed themselves from custodians of their people into custodians of the colonial order. This not only eroded their support base, but also overemphasized their coercive functions……The basis of any traditional leader’s authority; it is this characteristic which differentiates traditional leaders from all other leaders in any society”. (Keulder, n.d., p.2) As you can see that a traditional leader is a person that is more worried about mainly their organization and not the people who are working for the organization. It’s nothing wrong with being about the organization constantly but you want to be concern about the employees
