Example Of A Relationship Analysis Paper

Improved Essays
After reviewing the criteria for the relationship analysis paper, I decided to write about someone that has groomed me into the woman I am today. She has consistently stayed by my side through all of my triumphs and tribulations. She has continued to support every dream I have approached her with. Nevertheless, she has not agreed with every decision I have made, but she has never judged me. The woman I am referring to is my mother. Although we talk every day our relationship has endured many incidents that would cause any relationship to become strenuous. The media has made it apparent that a majority of young adults have issues with their parents. I am among that group of individuals. As of now my communication with my mother is limited.

This discussion really made me think on how to handle a situation with an upset parent. I was a little concerned on how well my methods of de-escalation techniques were going to be in this situation because it was a bit different from the couple of exercise we did in class. Nonetheless I did this exercise with a woman named Bailee and the exercise took about 10 to 15 minutes to complete/ The technique I used first for this assignment was an emotional one. I responded to her situation in an apologetic manner and expressed my dealt of frustration with her.…

I feel as if I have many memorable experiences from Exploris. One of them is when I went to Hope Elementary. Whenever we went to Hope Elementary School, we were able to work with the little children to teach them the science they were supposed to learn during the year. The experience helped me to learn how to plan ahead. Another example is when I went on the Outward Bound trip.…

“You are just like your grandfather.” Is something I’ve heard almost weekly for as long as I can remember. It is also the best compliment I will ever receive. If there is someone I could ever strive to be like it would be Kenneth Lampp. Sitting in his office chair with his white hair brushed back, ready to be hidden under a cowboy hat for the rest of the day.…

In the beginning, I wasn’t fond of beer, but after the project I found that I enjoyed beer more when paired with foods that I enjoy. I learned that different beers bring out and complement different flavors in food, for example, if you want to complement the flavor in a beer then you will match a key flavor found in the beer with a key flavor found in the food you wish to pair with. This rule generally follows the wine rule which is light with light and dark with dark. So a dark beer would pair with a heavier item such as a steak and a light beer would pair with a lighter item such as pasta. One of my favorite pairings in this project would have to be pairing the Drake's Hopocalypse DIPA with the caramel cheesecake.…

To many a mother’s love is an unconditional and an irreplaceable act of kindness. This love is seen to be a guide to growth and a love that helps to shape young children into well rounded adults. Throughout Jamaica Kincaid’s memoir, My Brother, her mom tends to show affection only in times of need when someone is down and does not really provide the leadership most mothers give. Most of the memoir is about intimacy, but a lot it deals with the relationships between mother and her children. Kincaid claims that the love her mother would give would not always be the best for them…

My mother and I did not share a typical mother/daughter relationship. There was a time when we would not even speak and years would pass before I would even see her again. However, I would always see her when I looked into the mirror, since I looked just like her. I would hear her laugh because our laughs were identical, and small details we shared would remind me of the relationship I was missing, the relationship I felt everyone took advantage of. During my senior year all hope of a possible reconciliation would be lost.…

I think my thesis overall is effective because I'm describing what is going to be in the paper without actually saying, "In this paper". The thesis is down to the point, simple and clean. Even though I did say I was going to show you some beneficial ways Greek life has done for themselves and the communities I was being to broad in this statement. In order to fix this I'm going to have to somehow fit my points that I made into the paper into my thesis. I could even include that I'm an affiliated member in a sorority at this campus.…

Throughout this stage, my mom slowly began to show interest in me by asking how my day went. The intensifying stage was the second stage our relationship went through. During this stage, the expression of feelings becomes common (Adler and Proctor II, 285). We entered this stage the moment my mom and I began to discuss how we both felt. We were able to discuss our feelings as well as increase the amount of activities we participated in together such as shopping and watching movies.…
