Example Of A Quote Analysis

There is one quote that I am finding is becoming more and more relevant in my life as of lately, and although it is quoted from Dr.Seuss without citation, it is also an anonymous proverb. That quote is “Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” I finding myself thinking of this particular quote often because many things in my life are coming into an end very soon and i am constantly reminding myself that I need not to relish in the sorrow of it ending, but be grateful that i got to experience it at all. When I was looking for a quote and this was the first I came across, I felt that i wouldn’t find a more perfect quote to relate to my life in this moment. I was so excited to start highschool with my best friend and go to all of the homecoming dances and football games and prom. Then she moved, and it all became a realization that i wouldn't be able to do all of those things because she was so far and i wouldn't be able to to there and she couldn't come here because plane tickets are insanely expensive. Instead, I see her when I get the chance, and we ‘t cry about how much we don’t cry the whole time about how much we miss each other, we laugh about all the things we did when we were kids. Last time I saw her was over the summer and one night we were laying in bed and she just says, “Hey, remember that one time we went tubing at my uncle's house and we flew off the tube and I landed on top of you and gave you a bloody nose, so we had to go back to the house and there was blood everywhere? So then my mom gave you ice cream and i cried because I didn’t get any?” We have to remember all of the fun shenanigans we partook in around the neighborhood and how we wreaked havoc on all of our old lady neighbors.
