On 08/25/15 law enforcement responded to a call and found two small children in the road; the road is a busy intersection outside the home. When officers arrived at the home, the children were in the road and their mother was inside the home; Mrs. Carraway was unaware the children had left the home. Mrs. Carraway told the reporter the children were not in the road, but were in woods that surround both sides of the home. Officers also presented concerns for the condition of the home. The home was described as extremely dirty with clothes and trash everywhere for this reason a DHS intervention has been requested by the officers. The children were left in their mother’s care.
