Intelligent design is impossible to prove, and impossible for an experiment to take place. The only guide to this theory is the Bible, which also states that a man was swallowed by a whale wrote about it , and miraculously survived by being expelled from its bowels (Jonah 1-4).There will never be enough hard evidence and fact to prove that a creator is responsible in the development of organisms. To believe in something is to have faith in it and having faith is trusting in something one can't see. You don't need to believe in evolution, the big bang, and natural selection. There are factors of life nonetheless an individual believes in it. You don't need to have confidence in something that is pure fact. Scientific foundations are always there, surpassing any deity or

Christopher Lynch HIS 4150 In The Beginning As theocracy encroaches further and further into politics and curricula, and especially so in the South, examining antievolutionary thought is both timely and sometimes necessary. Even though evolution—which, with its mounting evidence, seems more and more irrefutable—is nowadays practically a hallmark of modern science, many Americans still doubt it, and many even lobby and shape legislation that prevents it from being taught in classrooms. A startling and relatively recent example is Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal, who signed into law in 2008 the Louisiana Science Education Act, which was opposed by 78 Nobel laureates. It made it possible to introduce into public schools “intelligent design” and…

Intelligent Design on Trial Intelligent Design on Trial is a documentary over the Kitzmiller v Dover case. In this case, teaching intelligent design in public schools was ruled to be unconstitutional. This case brought about the question of whether or not intelligent design is a science, and should it be taught in science classes in public schools. In Pennsylvania, teachers refused to read a statement about intelligent design being related to Darwin’s Theory of Evolution. Because of this refusal, this brought parents and teachers to claim a lawsuit and sue the district which then led to a court case to determine if intelligent design is a new name for creationism, which is already forbidden in public schools because of its religious nature. Many say intelligent is a science stopper that make people stupid.…

The First Amendment of the United States Constitution states that, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech…”. Since the amendment says that Congress should not establish a religion or abridge freedom of speech, by only supporting one idea that would be similar to establishing a “religion” because they are favoring one idea and not talking about the other. Many argue that intelligent design violates the constitution because of its religion base but according to the Intelligent Design and Evolution Awareness Center, “Intelligent design is a bona fide scientific theory, and there is nothing stopping it from being taught for the purpose of enhancing the scientific learning of students.” This means that intelligent design is different from creationism because it is based on scientific and empirical data. The facts above state that teaching only one idea would violate the Constitution as well limit the level of scientific learning students…
