The Army slogan growing up as a kid was be all that you can be that was right up until I enlisted then it changed into Army of one that was short lived, because just four years later in 2006 the slogan changed to Army Strong and it still stands a decade later. The core question is have you ever wondered how the Army was started and what it was founded on.
First, I want to speak on the short lived slogan Army of one. I think that it was changed so fast because an Army is built on a team working together. The Army provided the proper forces and combat training and commanders to protect our national security and support out government Defense Strategies. That is why instead of having a bunch of volunteers it started to recruit its members with the hopes of equipping its maggots tuned soldiers with elite skills and training. As the times in the world have changed so has the Army. It supports civil authorities when it is needed. The Army is big on teamwork no matter if it is within the United States or with other Allied countries (Japan, Italy, Australia and Pakistan).
