Professional preparation will guarantee that the health education specialists will be flexible and competent to the health care needs for the year 2020. This will help health education specialists to become analytical thinkers, with a long-term mindset. Implementing health education in the community will serve as an intervention that reinforces preventative measures. Hopefully, this will reach both the community and schools enabling a fair playing field. Moreover, technological advances will help every level of education, enabling health education specialists to create quality research. Additionally, because of the growing need of health education specialists there needs to be some sort of examination that exemplifies the quality of education, knowledge, and experience to be competent for the job. Because of this, many health professionals fear creating a generic standardized specialists, when in reality the job is an ever changing career. For this, we might see exams for future health educators who wish to specialize in a particular area. I agree with this idea being put forward. Some of the settings briefly discussed in the chapter are; school settings, worksite setting, public or community health setting, clinical or health care setting. In most cases, all the skills necessary to function at each setting serve interchangeably to each other. As health education specialists search for different ways to interconnect both the school and community setting, they are also very distinct. The school setting approaches its population by preparing comprehensive curriculums, which are later delivered and implemented into school policy. The goal of the school setting is to meet the health needs of their students at every level. The community setting has the same goals and methods but to a much larger scale. It deals with a bigger and more diverse population. In comparison, the major goal of health specialists is to meet the health needs of every individual in the community. The worksite setting has more specific goals than most of the settings. This is in part because there are an array of programs to which it focuses on its workers. Health specialists have to assess and lead this programs as well as tailor them. The clinical or healthcare setting has increased by serving as a liaison to health care providers. Essentially by educating patients on a one-on-one basis. Hence, individualized patient teaching has become a requisite and health specialists have become the go to people
