From skeletons to teeth, more than 6,000 early human fossils from individuals have been found and studied by scientists (Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History), and this number rises every year with the finding of more fossils. With the studying of these fossils, scientists have learned things like how well an earlier human species walked upright, how well adapted they were to certain environmental factors, and how fast children of a certain species grew. The theory of evolution by natural selection is among the best established in science and provides actual evidence as to how we became what we are today. The most popular opposition to the theory of evolution in America is the belief that every species or animal that is alive today, was created in that way from the beginning, most likely by some god or other deity. The problem in believing this, is that there is no actual scientific evidence to support any of these claims. The theory of evolution has substantial evidence and facts in support of its principles, which only gets added on to as new fossil evidence is found and our understanding and knowledge of the past increases. Evolutionary theory is the only explanation of how humans came about that is actually supported by facts and
