Advantages Of 4G Mobile Technology

Decent Essays
The current high speed standard in mobile phone technology for data capability is called 4G LTE which is short for fourth generation technology Long-Term Evolution. 4G LTE is a standard for wireless data communications technology and is a modified and upgraded version of the GSM/UMTS standards. The ideal usage of 4g LTE is to increase the capacity and speeds of a wireless data network by using the new digital signal processing techniques and modulations that were developed around the beginning of the millennium. Another purpose of the advancement of cellular mobile technology using 4g LTE technology was the redesign and simplification of a networks architecture and to use an internet protocol bases system which helped to reduce the data transferring latency compared to the 3G network architecture. The functionality of the 4g LTE network was not compatible with neither of the 2G or 3G interfaces. A new wireless spectrum had to be created to use the 4G LTE network technology.

The 4G LTE technology specifications would provide peak download speeds of 300mbits per second and upload speed rates of 75mbits per second. With a quality of service provisions allowing for a

Other possible benefits would be a mobile network that delivers a better performing network for a lower investment cost. Another possible advancement could be smaller cells that are densely clustered together to give continuous coverage over urban areas. The implementation of 5G could also create a fiber wireless network with millimeter wave bands that are 20 -60Ghz which will allow for very wide bandwidth radio channels and be able to theoretically support data speeds up to 10Gbit per
