This study investigates the evil side of human nature. William Golding’s world famous novel “Lord of the Flies”, discusses the loss of innocence of a group of young schoolboys, and the nature of evil that lies within all the humanity. Is evil a part of the human nature, or is it something developed within the human mentality, as a consequence of improper upbringing by individuals, or maybe the society’s boundaries for human expression and personal development.
